"Moore" Christmas

The Official "Pot Heads" of the family.
Not sure if Mom appreciated them using her BRAND NEW Lagostina cookware! ha ha

Chayton playing with Grandpa-made toys.
Someone was really tired.
Freckles loves Chayton's change pad.

We spent the week leading up to Christmas at Leanne's parents in Ottawa. We were able to get some much needed shopping done for the holidays and were also able to see some family and friends that we don't always get to see. We even had dinner together, alone, in a restaurant!!

It was also nice to spend some time with Leanne's parents as her brother and his family weren't able to make it home this year. Chayton enjoyed Great-Grandpa and would have big converstations with him, although no one really knew what either of them were saying! I think he likes him because Great-Grandpa slips him cookies and Chayton likes his walker!

We went to Church on Christmas Eve, which probably wasn't the best idea for Chayton. About 15 minutes in, Chayton was done. So much so that Leanne had to take him out to the van because he was screaming so loud! This church is very small so there is not a quiet room. So Leanne and Chayton spent the next 45 minutes in the van hanging out! He managed to make it to Leanne's Aunt Betty's house after church for the annual Christmas Eve get together where he had fun burning off more energy and eating chocolate! He crashed in the van on the way home and went to bed in church clothes!

We just want to say Thank You to everyone for all the wonderful gifts we received. And a BIG thanks to Tony for Leanne's Foot Spa...she is in heaven when she uses it! And to Mom and Dad Moore for spoiling Chayton and helping out with more new baby things! We appreciate it all!

Gone Away...

The holidays have finally started! YAY! So, we will be gone for the next few weeks for holidays....here is the plan (sort of).

We are leaving tomorrow for Ottawa. This will allow us to finish up our Christmas Shopping, visit with some friends we don't get to see often, spend Christmas and Leanne's Birthday with her family, and spend a little time with her parents who would otherwise be childless for Christmas! (We got the guilt trip). We were hoping that Warren and Jenn would be able to make it back home for Christmas, but things just don't always work out. Hopefully next year!

We will then return to Petawawa on the 27th (Can't miss the boxing day sales in the city). We have a prenatal appt, and a few other things to take care of and people to see before we go away again.

From the 29th to January 1st, we will then be heading to Barry's Bay to spend a few days with Phil's family and have "Drost Christmas". It should be a lot of fun, and nice and relaxing as well. We both can't wait to get to the cottage and just hang out with family. We will finally get to meet our new nephew Samuel and see everyone that we don't get to see as often. Chayton will certainly enjoy all the attention!

So, there you have it. That is our plan! We hope to get to see a lot of you over the holidays.....

Merry Christmas Everyone!!
