At the Park

We were able to get out for once since we have had some yucky weather. So we went to the park a few blocks away. Chayton had fun, especially since he can do a lot more each time we go. He definetly enjoyed himself and we decided that since he didn't seem tuckered out enough after playing, to see if he would walk home. He did, all the way home...not without stopping to splash in some puddles in his boots. He did really well.

Poll

Ok, so we have had many ongoing discussions about who Chayton looks like more. Leanne say's don't let the blonde hair fool you, he looks like her.(Especially since she was blonde as a baby.) Phil says Chayton is all him except for Chayton's eyes. So we decided to put you all to the test and see what you think. We took baby photo's of each of us and will let you compare all 3 of our baby pictures. Leave a comment and let us know what you all think. (Can you tell we have too much time on our hands??)

CONGRATULATIONS!!

We want to congratulate Leanne's cousin Heather and her husband Daryl on the birth of their first child "Emmett Barrie Godin". He arrived by c-section at 2 am this morning! Mom and baby are doing great after that long process. Seems he was quite comfortable where he was!

Happy Birthday Emmett!!

You arrived exactly 1 year and 3 months after Chayton.

Baby Drost #2

Here is the most recent ultrasound picture of our newest bundle of joy we are expecting around Jan 30th. And yes, we found out what the baby is. Me, old fashioned....never!

It is another boy! (So they say) And no, this doesnt' mean we will try again for a little girl. I will be happy surrounded by all my men!

Chayton's Shiner...

Chayton finally really hurt himself this past weekend at Grandma's. He was climbing the stairs with Mommy, missed a step and fell head first on his eyebrow on the edge of the ceramic stair. Yep, he split it open and probably could have used some stitches. But, we were a little far from the closest hospital for them to do anything by the time we got there, not to mention it would have traumatized him a lot more than he already was. So, it is healing up nicely so far...just the bruising is really starting to come out. We are pretty sure he will have a nice scar on his eyebrow that will make a good story one day!!
